**Not Gluten Free?? Serve on regular bread
**Not Dairy Free?? Use regular Swiss or Provolone cheese
**Grain Free?? Serve without bread
**Paleo?? Leave out soy sauce and soda and use homemade broth as a substitute
Note: This is a slow cooker recipe that takes 8 hours to cook, but it's worth it!
Serves: 4
Ingredients:
1/2 onion, chopped
1 green pepper, sliced
1 red pepper, sliced
3 garlic cloves, chopped
1 lb beef sirloin, cut into strips
1/2 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp dried thyme
1/4 tsp dried basil
1/4 tsp dried marjoram
1 tsp soy sauce
1 tsp mustard
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp hot sauce (Cinderella loves Frank's Red Hot original sauce)
12 oz ginger ale
1 cup beef broth
gluten free rolls (Cinderella loves Schar sandwich rolls)
dairy free mozzarella cheese (Cinderella loves Tofutti mozzarella slices)
Directions:
1. Put onion, green pepper, red pepper and garlic in the bottom of a slow cooker
2. Put beef over onion and garlic and top with all spices (cumin, pepper, chili powder, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, thyme, basil and marjoram)
3. Pour soy sauce, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, ginger ale and beef broth over spices
4. Cook on low setting for 8 hours
5. Preheat oven to broil
6. Assemble sandwich on roll with meat, peppers, onions and top with mozzarella cheese
7. Broil in oven for about 5 minutes or until cheese is melted and slightly golden brown
